Q. Do you do First Aid at Work (FAW)?
A. Yes, we offer a variety of regulated first aid courses, including FAW (First Aid at Work), EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work), PFA (Paediatric First Aid), and more! Feel free to contact us for more details.
Q. What should I wear to the course?
A. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and flat shoes, as the course includes practical, hands-on activities.
Q. What do I need to bring with me?
A. You’re welcome to bring a notebook if you enjoy taking notes, but everything you need for the course will be provided.
Q. Is food and drink provided?
A. We’ve got you covered with tea and coffee! Lunch isn’t provided, but you’re welcome to pre-order a meal from the pub on the day if you fancy.
Q. Do I need prior knowledge or experience?
A. Not at all! Whether you’re brand new or just brushing up, this course is open to everyone - we’ll guide you through everything.
Q. Is there any hands-on practice?
A. This course is packed with practical elements! You’ll take part in Q&A sessions, quizzes, games, and interactive activities like role play to help bring the learning to life.
Q. Where are courses held? / Can you come to us?
A. Our main training facility is at The Royal George, 193 Manchester Rd, Greenfield, Oldham OL3 7HX - a great space for learning. We’re also happy to come to your workplace or club, so you can learn in familiar surroundings. For family First Aid courses, we hold those in the comfort of your home - all we need is a power outlet for the slideshow and some space for hands-on activities.
Q. Will I receive certification after completing the course?
A. Yes! Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certificate that acknowledges your proficiency in first aid. For the Basic Life Support course, you’ll receive a certificate approved by the FAIB valid for three years.
